The BC Urban Entrepreneur Development Association (BCUEDA) is a non-profit business organization comprised of the nine provincially funded Self - Employment Programs in the Greater Vancouver area. Our members include BCIT, Langara College, SEEDS,
S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Business & Economic Development Centre, Toward Excellence,
Éducacentre College, Fraser Valley and YMCA.
Each year, in the greater Vancouver area, our members facilitate the start-up of more than 600 businesses through the intensive forty-eight week Self-Employment Program, and assist another 500 businesses through our support, assessment workshops and one-on-one counseling.
The BCUEDA network exceeds 5,000 businesses, employs 13,000 British Columbians and contributes more than $300 million to the local economy.
Over the years, BCUEDA has mentored and trained some of the province 's most important business leaders. |
