Directors of BCUEDAGary C. Bizzo, President, BC Urban Entrepreneur Development Association (BCUEDA) S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Business & Economic Development Centre Gary C. Bizzo has 25 years of marketing, management and internet experience primarily in a Project Management role. Mr. Bizzo is currently Program Manager of the Self Employment Program, a provincial government funded initiative, for S.U.C.C.E.S.S. In that role he is responsible for the development and implementation of business development modules to entrepreneurs. Before joining S.U.C.C.E.S.S., Mr. Bizzo operated Immediacy Communications, a media production and marketing consulting company. He is CEO of Minds Online, a web based training development company. He also was a strategic marketing planning consultant working with Virtual Perception Systems, a Richmond Security software corporation. He is an Associate Producer of MangoVibe, a Channel M television program, where he offers on-air business advice to entrepreneurs. Mr. Bizzo is an expert in the coupling of traditional strategic marketing and planning techniques with innovative new media resources. This diversification has been successful in part in his ability to study each client's operation, understand their business model and provide unique development tools that would improve their business. Mr. Bizzo is experienced in identifying and analyzing product markets, strategic market development, developing market information systems and system design and implementation Currently pursuing an Executive M.B.A. (Marketing) degree, Mr. Bizzo holds a B.A. in Psychology and has conducted advanced work in law, management theory, internet marketing, internet reverse engineering and organizational management theory. Mr .Bizzo is also Director of The Young Men's Society of BC, member of the Vancouver Board of Trade, The Fraser Institute, the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Society, Small Business Council of BC and C.I.R.A. (Canadian Internet Registration Authority).
Donna McFadden, Vice President, BCUEDA Donna has been successfully self-employed for twenty years. She currently owns two incorporated companies, has had a partnership and has worked as a sole proprietor. Donna brings a broad perspective to entrepreneurship. She was actively involved in community services, setting up and managing service agencies and has launched a community newspaper. She has worked in the counseling arena - both as a service provider and a manager. She has done a Master's program in designing and managing organizational change through Antioch University, Seattle, WA. Donna has also worked in management and sales within the financial industry. Her passion is designing and facilitating processes and programs that help people realize and then actualize their potential. Donna's own personal entry into self-employment was sparked by the fact that she was innovative and set high standards for herself and those around her. She realized early on that the best way for her to create a context where she could consistently deliver excellence was to have the freedom to design and develop the appropriate environment and set the bar high. Entrepreneurship was the key! Donna believes that everyone has the ability to create the life of his or her dreams. That is at the heart of everything that Toward Excellence Consulting Inc., her own business, is about.
